How to deal with distractions ?
While studying
HEAD: "Should I check my fb feeds?
Let me check for a minute..."
After few hours
HAND: End up having long conversation on WhatsApp group, Done binge watching the Netflix, and continuing playing pubg!
After realizing it
HEART : "Kal se pakka padhunga!"
Once in life or should I say frequently this happens with us all
We end up getting distracted by xyz stuff and the vicious cycle never ends.
In this cut-throat competitive world its very necessary to have a focused mindset
But then HOW?
Well,you might have noticed I have underlined few words above
i.e Head,Heart,hand
If you learn to allign this three elements you don't have to worry about the distractions, ever.
Let's understand it step by step,
HEAD - the vision of doing something,the place where ideas grow. Decision making part.
HEART - where we intensely feel those ideas, we fathom the intuition for completing those vision.
HAND - the performing element,source of completing the things, execution part, the actual application of that Vision.
You can not complete any task if this elements are not properly aligned.
They are all connected with one another.
The one who creates the probable mess is the your HEAD
One should be able to prioritize his/her thoughts inside their head.
By prioritizing thoughts your HEART will provide the energy to complete those task and without any complications the HAND will perform its duty.
If you love doing something with all your heart and soul then there is less scope for getting distracted because you are already attracted to the thing that you love doing.
So think about that one main reason which is driving you crazy for doing it
You need be very lucid about the reasons behind your doings
You must know the importance of the work that you are suppose to do.
Let's consider 'studying'
You should be clear why you are studying, is it for grades? Or is it for that dream job?or just because your parents wants you to do it.
After knowing that your heart knows its work.
and So does your hand too.
you need not to worry about the distraction because you are feeding your focus by prioritizing your thoughts!
So attract more reasons, prioritize your priorities,
Whenever you feel tired, exhaust or distracted just pause, take a moment to think why you have started and you'll get the answer!
